Stop Icing, It's Not Helping You Heal
Hey guys stop icing. We have been taught since we were kids to apply ice on an injured area. There is no good scientific reason to support this thinking. Current research is also proving that icing is bad for healing injuries. TCM and Ayurveda is against the use of ice to heal injuries.
Whether one is suffering from Runner's knee pain or knee arthritis ice will slow down the healing process. Much better to use heat instead of ice. Specially soaking knee in warm water+ epsom salt.
